The light had faded out of snows bright blue eyes remembering the nightmare. Her heart thudded like a thousand drums beating at once. She was with shadow, her friend, what could go wrong telling him her vision. She started telling him the beginning of her dream, It wasn't scary but pleasant. She enjoyed telling him every detail, to the quite lakes that fish gleefully jumped in and out of, breaking the silver surface, to the brilliant sun, blazing above them. She wanted to hold on to the light of the dream but it couldn't last. She tried to grasp all the details, trying to hold on the the last beautiful words but they slipped away every time she spoke them. Then she was forced to tell shadow about the dark hole that swallowed up him and sky. Shadows ears lay low when he heard about the terrible darkness that ate everything that fell into it. Her heart shuddered as she told him about her finely getting sucked down into the black. Snow skipped the details of that part of her dream. She skipped the part of where all the trees got sucked in and were ripped from the earth, All the animals crying for help, and the flames that licked at her patch of surviving grass. Snow suddenly thought of it all being a true sign that they weren't going to live, that she would have to watch her closest friends die right before her eyes. A lump came to her throat and she shut her eyes and held back hot tears. This didn't help. A single tear fell down her furry cheek, it shimmered and twisted as it fell onto the path of her neatly brushed fur. Then it fell, it dropped and splashed onto the ground. Shadow looked up at her with saddened eyes. Snow opened her's and looked back at him. His dark blue eyes shimmered even in the dark and they flooded with embarrassment and thought. Then they turned to a serious look, a determined one too. He obviously wanted to do something desperately snow thought. He was nervous also, his limbs trembled the slightest bit.

Shadow- the darkness isn't all that bad you know.

Snow tried to look calm as he spoke this. He was probably angry she had said the darkness was a terrible thing. He was, after all, a dark spirit. She didn't want to hurt him anymore so she responded quickly.

Snow- oh I know, I like darkness. Not all is bad.

Snow wanted desperately to look into his eyes again to see if he got the message but he had turned is head the other way.

Shadow- You probably hate all darkness. You just forgot I am...

Snow swallowed. She knew he was right. How could he do that? It was pretty annoying when she wanted to hide something from him. He was so serious most times, or he was arguing with aqua trying to sound bigger then him but aqua was slippery like an ice cube. If you said something to him, he would shoot it right back at you in a different way making his opponent speechless, the worst way to end when arguing. She knew shadow wanted to be more important then he was. He wanted to be recognized and snow wasn't helping right now. Snow thought up something quick to calm him down so he wouldn't fell dumbfounded.

Snow- NO! I was just saying that the darkness I saw in my dream was bad. Nothing to you shadow. Your the greatest wolf I've ever known.
Shadow- I know your just making things up... Can I show you something?

Snowflake, unable to realize what had just happened gladly said yes. Se didn't want him to fell bad, and besides, where ever they were going would be fun. Shadow wouldn't get her in any trouble, he was her friend after all. What could go wrong?
